Following the loss through injury of First Team goalkeeper Stefan McCurley (everyone wishes Stefen a speedy recovery), Managers Craig McKinlay and James Orr have moved quickly to promote promising youngster Kenny Giles from the Under 20 Development Squad.

Kenny has been in and around the first team for most of the season and has shown great attitude and potential. That the Management team felt no need to look for an experienced keeper to replace Stefan speaks volumes for how young Kenny has progressed, progress that he will have to work hard to continue as a full time member of the Senior squad.

Under 20's Manager Alan Bateman and the entire squad will be delighted to see one of their own step up but also delighted that Kenny will still remain available for their own campaign which has started very well.
