Football can certainly be a cruel game. Today's game could have gone either way but Lady Luck shone favourably on the Edinburgh team. One mistake by a player who had played well throughout the game and City scored the winner without any time left for Colts to stage a comeback. As a Colts fan I hope the players don't become too downhearted because of the results so far. The two defeats don't reflect the quality of the two performances. What the Colts have clearly shown is their ability to play at this level. After all, today's game was against the team that had won the Lowland league last season by a clear margin. If Colts continue to build on the organisation, discipline and performances shown in their two first league games then I'm certain the points and victories will follow.
