Title: The Big Game
Post by: ErnSal on October 07, 2016, 06:25:17 PM
I'm looking forward to tomorrow's big game. East Kilbride, our natural rivals, seem unstoppable but perhaps the Colts can halt their run and open up things at the top.
A good result on Wednesday evening in the cup, so the cup and league can still both be won. The Double!
We can all dream. :)

Forza Colts!

We were beaten 2-0 but certainly not disgraced. In my opinion we matched EK in general play and organisation. It's difficult to pinpoint what made the difference but they did have some strong and fast players that were able to create chances and convert two of them into goals. We did create some chances but failed to capitalise on any of them. Of course, our goalkeeper did save us on several occasions. All in all, I don't think there is a major gulf between EK and us. However, it is looking likely that EK will be champions this season unless they hit a bad patch.
