This was my first opportunity to see the new look Colts before the arrival of the new season. With plenty of energy, effort and concentration Colts almost managed to pull off a victory against First Division Stranraer. Most of Stranraer's first team were playing, so Colts did well to hold their own against a physically stronger and more experienced team. Although we have lost some of our own experienced players (e.g. Ward and Broadfoot) it was interesting to see some of the new arrivals. Always good to see an Italian defender in the back four (Well, Pascazio is an Italian name)
I think it's going to be a very competitive season and I suspect EK and East Stirling will be the favourites with Spartans a close third but football doesn't always follow predictions. (Eg Leicester)
